Best Course I’ve Taken!

Michael's course was excellent.

I learned all kinds of manual

therapy techniques that I was

able to apply the next day,

even a number of manipulation techniques.

His course is an eclectic curriculum taking the best from a number of other clinical experts like Mulligan, Bulter, Greenman and more.

Beyond the great manual skills I learned, it was a great review of anatomy, biomechanics, and patient psychology too. He really emphasized patient communication which I thought was extremely useful. Michael also took the time to discuss the patients I was having difficulty with back at my practice. It was just like a residency.

Of course with all the review, I felt very confident sitting for the OCS exam and passed it with flying colors the first time.

I would highly recommend Michael's course to anyone wanting to improve their patient care.

What We Do

Our Team of board certified specialist, residency and fellowship trained physical therapists teach and assist during lab time.

Lectures covering concepts related to current best evidence in advanced Orthopedic Physical Therapy and Manual Therapy begin each session.  During lab, the course instructor places emphasis on evidence based evaluation and treatment of orthopaedic impairments, functional limitations and activity restrictions. Practice of excellent handling skills is emphasized during the lab sessions.

This predominately hands-on lab course provides consistent feedback throughout the year. Our team of Manual Therapy Fellowship trained instructors are always available to help you master the skills and concepts we teach.  We keep the student to instructor ratio low (<14:1) to ensure that all participants receive the feedback they desire.  Written exams and practical reviews are administered to help review the information covered.

TESTIMONIALS

I highly recommend Michael Miller’s year long Orthopaedics class. Michael and I first met almost 20 years ago when we were both preparing for our OCS exam, me a student and Michael an assistant to the instructor. After completing that year long course I passed my exam and have been in private practice ever since.

When it came time to renew my OCS certification I searched out Michael and enrolled in his year long course. Michael is an excellent therapist with extraordinary manual therapy skills. His class is well organized and informative. He moves month to month covering every joint in a well organized manner.

I have and would refer any of my patients to Michael to treat because he is the Luke Skywalker of orthopaedics and in his class he shares all of this with his students.

So for those therapists looking to improve their manual therapy skills and/or to understand the DSP of the OCS exam, Michael’s class is the best!

If you have any questions about my experience in Michael’s class please feel free to contact me 310-503-1339.
